Customer Success Manager (German Speaker)

Our client is looking for a Customer Success Manager to join their Berlin office and to serve as a trusted & strategic advisor to key executive-level stakeholders within their assigned portfolio of accounts. You’ll be responsible for customer onboarding, increasing user acquisition and engagement, ensuring retention and uncovering and closing upsell opportunities.
Your responsibilities and impact working as a Customer Success Manager will be:
Act as the main point of contact for strategic accounts post-sale, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience tailored to the customer’s business needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive long-term retention and maximize product adoption.
Proactively influence usage and engagement to ensure customers realize the full value of the product.
Continuously identify upsell opportunities to drive expansion revenue.
Ensure the timely and effective delivery of solutions aligned with customer goals.
Adapt communication style to engage with various stakeholders, from executives to end-users.
Serve as an escalation point for customer concerns, particularly during security incidents.
Advocate for high-value customers internally, providing insights on market trends and customer challenges.
Stay informed on industry trends to effectively advise customers across different sectors.
Conduct video calls using web-based tools to foster strong client relationships and ensure a seamless experience.
Skills, experiences and interests you need to succeed in this role:
Fluency in German and English
At least 2 years professional experience in Account Management/Customer Success within the tech industry
Excellent self-awareness in handling customer escalations by consistently adhering to all established workflows.
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment, without losing personal touch with customers or strategy
Passion for proactively investing in your own training and development across multiple business industries
Experience with CRM and CSM (e.g. Gainsight) systems is an advantage
