8 Events You Shouldn’t Miss This Spring in Barcelona
International Beer Festival
When: 15th to 17th March
Where: La Farga de L’Hospitalet
Beer might not be the most famous thing about Barcelona. But since this festival offers a selection of 650 different types of beer from all over the world it’s definitely beer o’clock in Barcelona! So beer lovers beware! We highly recommend you to act like a judge for the sake of the international competition of “Barcelona Beer Challenge”. But be careful and do not try to taste all of them! Save the date and prepare yourself to have a detox week afterward.
You can either buy a daily ticket for €8 or for 3-day entrance for €10 and enjoy a variety of beers from 2 to 4 coins (each coin costs €1).

Rally Barcelona Sitges
When: 17th March 10:30 to 19:00
Where: Starting from Plaza Sant Jaume to Sitges
A tradition since 1959, Rally Barcelona Sitges is ready to run for the 61st time to give you a chance to travel back in time. Are you interested in vintage cars and fancy looks from early 20th century or just want to see something definitely does not belong today? Then this rally is an opportunity you shouldn’t miss!
Don’t worry if you cannot make it to the rally day. The cars will be on public display on Saturday at L’illa Diagonal shopping center from 10:00 to 17:30.

Festival of Pi or Saint Josep Oriol
When: 16th to 24th March
Where: Pi Neighborhood, Basílica of Santa Maria del Pi
If you haven’t seen any traditional festival in Barcelona yet, Festa de Sant Josep Oriol, also known as Festa Major of Pi Neighborhood is gonna be a good start to experience some of the best Catalan traditions. Named after the Saint Josep Oriol, the festival is gonna be held around the Basílica de Santa Maria del Pi throughout the week.
Do not miss human towers and the big parade on Sunday with the attendance of the famous giants, human towers, beasts and big heads of Catalunya dancing and celebrating their day!

Organized by the Earth Day Association, “Dia de la Terra” is celebrated as a fair in Barcelona with a food market, conferences and several events with the attendance of several NGOs, small-scale food producers, and farmers.
If you don’t have plans outside of the city, what’s better than visiting the market in the beautiful Parc de Ciutadella, having organic and fresh food on a sunny April day?

Did you miss the chance to follow the amazing marathon race was held in Barcelona on 10th of March? Don’t worry, we have another race coming up soon! Primavera Sound Festival 2019 is not only specially marked in the calendar of music lovers in Barcelona but also attracting tourists from all over the world. It is the best consolation to the last days of the spring and a festive messenger of approaching summer.
